30 April
Sons of the American Revolution Day
Shelby County Judge Executive Dan R. Ison, proclaimed 30 April as Sons of the American Revolution Day in recognition of the 135th anniversary of the founding of the SAR. Chapter representatives were presented with a copy of the proclamation at the Shelby County Fiscal Court on 2 April, 2024.

The City of Prospect's Mayor Farnlsey recently declared 18 December, Gov. Isaac Shelby Chapter Day. At a recent city council meeting members of the chapter were presented with a copy of the declaration.
