The Governor Isaac Shelby Chapter is active around the Commonwealth of Kentucky throughout the year. Since 2012 we participated in over 100 events each year.
The events can be separated in four basic categories:
- Patriotic Activities that include service to veterans, Naturalization Ceremonies, Flag Retirement Ceremonies and observation of National Holidays.
- Education Activities include presentations to school groups and the general public.
- History Activities which include participating in ceremonies commemorating important events in our nation's history and preservation of historic sites.
- We also have Other Activities which are social events within our chapter, volunteering at NSSAR headquarters, or helping our sisters in the NSDAR when requested.
